STEP 7040 / 7060
Temperature supervision relay
The temperature supervision devices of the STEP 7000 series have been specifically designed for protecting equipment against excessive heating. To perform this function, they are generally associated with platinum resistance gauges type PT100 (100 Ohm at 0 °C) which comply with DIN Standard 43760.
Due to their presentation in the modular plug-in case type R, they may be used separately or interconnected and may thus be grouped into a standard 19" rack cradle with the different types of CEE protective relays.

MAIN FEATURES
- Temperature set-level adjustement range: from 20 to 180 °C
- Associated detector elements: platinum thermo-sensitive resistor type PT100 (100 Ohm a 0 °C)
- n.1 output changeover contact for each supervision channel
